The cold is here! ️☃️️And so is soup season!!
This simple organic creamy butternut squash soup recipe will warm your soul, nourish your body AND satisfy your taste buds!
1 can of organic butternut squash
1 tiny can of organic coconut cream
1/2 cup organic bone broth (I make my own and try to always have some on hand, but you could also use store-bought)
1 tsp Herbamare organic seasoning
1 lb organic ground turkey (brown separately then add)
1 organic purple onion, sauteed
Fresh organic basil
Shredded goat cheese
In a medium sauce pan, combine the butternut squash, coconut cream, bone broth and herbamare seasoning! Heat on low-medium, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.
While the soup is heating up…. if you want some extra flavor, protein and nutrients… brown the organic ground turkey and sautee the purple onion in separate pans. Shred a block of goat cheese and chop up the fresh basil! Once done, add the turkey and onion into the soup. Pour into bowls and top with goat cheese and fresh basil!
